Word Vault
A simple place to catch better words and actually use them. Say one out loud the same day you add it. (The habit idea started from a Tony Robbins note. That is only the spark, not the point.)

Preframe
- Definition: Set the meaning of a situation before other people fill it in for you.
- Example: “Before we open Exhibit 1, let me preframe this: we’re pricing sequence, not just lengths.”
- When I’d use it: Bid reviews with Andrew, kickoffs with Todd, anytime a room is about to spiral into noise.
Leverage
- Definition: A small move that multiplies force. Not “try harder” — find the fulcrum.
- Example: “The leverage on this takeoff isn’t more hours; it’s locking phase on every pay item.”
- When I’d use it: When I’m grinding and need to pick the one change that moves the bid.
Congruent
- Definition: Words, tone, and actions lined up. No gap between what you say and what you do.
- Example: “If we say phasing is priority one, the estimate has to look congruent with that.”
- When I’d use it: Self-check before I tell the team something’s “done.”
