Tesla Cybertruck
I love Cybertrucks. Every time one drives past in Salt Lake I turn my head. The design is polarizing, and that is part of the point: it does not look like anything else on the road because it is not built like anything else on the road.
This page is a 3D Cybertruck I can spin, explode down to the hardware, and switch into an FSD view that shows every camera and how Full Self-Driving (Supervised) flows from cameras to computer to controls. The exterior follows Tesla's published dimensions [1]. Shown here: Premium AWD at medium ride height, on 20-inch wheels. The shape follows the manual's exterior drawings. Unpublished panel details and internal hardware remain approximations. Every part has its own link, like /cybertruck#battery.
Loading the 3D model
Inside the cabin: drag to look around; release to stop. Arrow keys also turn the view. Scroll or pinch to change the field of view. Select Truck or Reset view to return outside. Interior contours and camera eye positions are approximate.

Switch the model to and the body fades out, each camera gets a small selectable dot and a translucent cone, and pulses run from the cameras into the onboard computer and out to the steering, brakes, and motors. Select a dot to show its name and details. The steps below light up in time with the model.
- 1Cameras8 exterior cameras are listed across the front, rear and sides. This total is our count of the listed locations.
- 2Onboard AI computerThe onboard AI computer processes camera inputs with neural networks to guide the vehicle.
- 3Steering, braking, acceleratingThe system attempts to follow the route through turns and intersections. The driver stays attentive and ready to take over.
The manual describes camera inputs, an AI computer processing neural networks, and over-the-air updates [4]. The animated cones and paths are an illustration, not a factory wiring diagram or a measured processing sequence.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised): Full Self-Driving (Supervised) does not make the truck autonomous. The driver must stay attentive and be ready to take over at any time. [4]

Owner manual
The exterior is stainless steel without a clear coat. Tesla notes that its appearance and reflectivity can change as the surface ages. [15]
A space-rocket connection: Cybertruck and Starship both use stainless steel. Tesla calls the alloy developed for Cybertruck HFS (Hard Freaking Stainless). The shared material family is documented; an identical production alloy is not established by these sources. [25] [26]
In the model: Overall dimensions use the manual tables. The swept front corners and hood outline also follow Tesla production photos. The roof width follows the front elevation illustration at roughly 61% of body width; it is not a published roof measurement. Local panel offsets, gaps and thickness remain visual estimates. [1] [28]

The cargo bed may include a powered tonneau cover, under-bed compartment and L-tracks, depending on configuration. A closed tonneau does not make the bed waterproof. [12]
In the model: The bed floor is 71.84 by 51.00 inches, with 28.66 inches of height at the front and 19.84 at the rear. The ribbed floor, L-track slots and supported storage lid follow the manual images. The tailgate has a molded ribbed inner cover. The tapered lower cavity is scaled to the nominal 97-liter capacity; its local shape, struts and fittings remain approximate. [1] [12] [29]

Owner manual
The official exterior drawings show the mirrors, front tow hooks and lower body trim. [2]
One windshield wiper uses a washer hose and nozzles along the blade. Keeping the windshield clear also helps the front-facing cameras. [8]
In the model: Arch profiles and mirror shapes follow the manual illustrations. The front bumper, continuous recessed grille, rectangular tow-hook covers and wheel fairings follow Tesla service images. Both extended and folded mirror envelopes match the published widths. The mirrors have a rounded triangular rim, a tapered satin cap, recessed glass angled rearward toward the cabin, and a wedge-shaped mounting arm. These surfaces follow Tesla service photographs; the pivot and local dimensions remain estimates. The parked driver-side wiper has a solid blade cover, rubber lip, raised arm, connector, pivot cap and washer hose. Its shape and thickness are visual estimates from Tesla service photographs. -
Owner manual
Full Self-Driving (Supervised) uses camera input and an AI computer that processes neural networks. Tesla describes over-the-air updates and requires an attentive driver ready to take over. [4]
In the model: The computer box and animated paths are a schematic explanation, not a published hardware layout or processing sequence.
Why I think it's cool
I want a Cybertruck. This page is how I learn its shape and systems, one part at a time. Every post that points at a part of this model is another step on that road.
How this model is referenced
Dimensions, features and operating notes come from Tesla's Cybertruck Owner's Manual and its linked chapters. The stainless-steel fun fact additionally cites Tesla's HFS article and a firsthand Starship interview. The exterior envelope, both mirror widths, axle spacing, wheel track, bed floor and bed heights use the published measurements. The screen diagonals use Tesla’s product specifications. Cargo cavities are scaled to nominal capacity, which does not establish exact internal dimensions. The hood, windshield, roof and door outlines follow the official exterior illustrations. Tesla production photos and public service images provide additional visual references for the front fascia, lights, bumper, frunk liner and mirror glass.
The manual rounds measurements to hundredths of an inch and notes that equipment can affect them. It does not provide a complete surface model. Roof width is traced from the front elevation illustration, not a published roof measurement. Panel curvature, trim, tread and the exploded internal components are approximations, not factory CAD or service instructions.
