Construction Takeoff plugin privacy

These plugin launchers start the separately installed Construction Takeoff MCP companion on your Mac. The launchers contain no analytics, downloads or network calls. They pass the selected project directory and standard input/output to the companion. They do not bundle or upload your project library.

When your AI client calls a tool, requested project information and tool results enter that client's conversation and may be processed by its AI provider under that provider's settings and policies. Information can include project names, quantities, model data, drawings or file paths depending on the tool used. Share only information you intend that client to process.

The companion reads saved projects and writes proposal/output files locally. Construction Takeoff native review applies supported project changes. Plugin launchers disable legacy direct project writes. The app and companion have their own distribution and privacy terms; this document describes the plugin launchers only.

No developer-operated data service is included in this package. Remove or disable the plugin in your client to stop launching the companion. Uninstalling the plugin does not delete your projects, generated proposals or the separately installed app/companion.
